Bryce Harper’s Car Oozes Natitude

Thanks to The Nats Blog, a great shot of Bryce Harper’s Mercedes AMG was taken in Burke, Virginia earlier this week.

Replacing the Mercedes-Benz emblem on the rear is the Washington Nationals’ classic Curly ‘W’. Harper also has his initials on the left rear of the trunk lid, in addition to his No. 34.

I’ll admit, I pictured Harper as a little more of an SUV guy — something along the lines of a chromed out Escalade. But the Mercedes is a nice touch. And not real surprising either.

Hopefully Harper considers his vehicles long-term investments, which could be a telling sign that he’s with the Nationals for the long haul. I’m reaching aren’t I?
