Wizards: Jordan Crawford Semi-Explains His ‘Steez’…Errr Something Like That
The following conversation chit-chat between Washington Post columnist Dan Steinberg and Wizards guard Jordan Crawford further proves why J-Craw is staking his claim as Washington’s most entertaining athlete since Clinton Portis. And probably for all the wrong reasons.
Steinbergs’s write-up is much better in its entirety. But Crawford’s ridiculousness is captured in just a few words (all from Steinberg’s post).
Dan Steinberg: Why do you wear sunglasses in the locker room after games?
Jordan Crawford: Oh, that’s just part of my steez.
DS: Part of your what?
JC: My steelo. My style.
DS: Is it hard to see inside with those glasses on?
JC: The glasses I get is all purpose. You can wear ‘em all day. No prescription. Just steelo.
DS: Could reporters up their steez by wearing shades in the locker room?
JC: I don’t know what the reporters should do. I’m just worried about my steez.
DS: What about the lens-free dark rims that seem to be NBA staples?
JC: That’s foolishness. Foolishness. We don’t do all that. That’s too much.
Utter foolishness indeed, Mr. Crawford.
Thanks, Dan.
